Eight days and counting before we have to be out of our current home and make the studio livable.  We have purchased and painted kitchen cabinets.  The new bathroom has been framed in.  We’ve insulated the exterior walls of the garage and apartment.  We textured and painted the walls – with help from some great friends.

We still don’t have running water or heat in the apartment.

In the house, we had contractors level the floor and fix the well.  We have visited both Menards and the Habitat Re-Store many times!  It seems every project takes at least 2 visits to the store and 3 times longer than we had planned.

This week we are both working half days at our regular jobs to give a final push to have someplace livable.

Although we are starting to get a little nervous since we are running out of time, we are still undaunted.
