We are John and Katie, owners of Newtown Orchard

We both grew up in Florida where we met, got married and started our family.  After our 11^th year anniversary, we moved into a motorhome with our 3 sons.  We traveled the country for 2 years and ended up in Southern Missouri. We recently became empty-nesters.

We are a family of adventure, we like to explore and learn.  We have lots of hobbies, we’re resourceful, and we are not afraid to try new things.

This blog is about our current adventures.  We purchased a 7-acre farm with 7 buildings in late 2019.  Every building needs major repair and renovation.  Our goal is to turn the farm into The Newtown Farm, a commercial apple orchard and a place for people to come visit.

With the challenges ahead of us, we remain undaunted.  We hope you will join us on our adventure.
